     The BBS offers the Following Services...
 


     * AX25 * TCP/IP * TELNET * HTTP * FTP * YAPP *



     The system runs as a Telnet Gateway from the Internet to the ax25 packet network,



      Note. The system does not operate as a gateway to / from the ui-view / aprs network.
     


     All other features of the system such as pop3, smtp, nntp, ping, finger have now 
been disabled owing to abuse from some users who didnt value
     the FREE access they were given..

These ports are all available at very short
 notice for use if anyone show interest in using them, 

  But I see no point in leaving them running whilst no one seems intrested
 in using them

  as  m1cuk-7 Node Alias DXpool,

  connected to  sys.gb7fcr via EtherNet link provides

  access to gb7mbc dxcluster via internet link.  

  

   


   

  


   

     

The BBs runs under the Linux Operating System 
  using  Linux Node as the

  front end and Tnos 2.30  as the IP bbs and Linux  FBB for the ax25 BBS.
   

  

   

       

The main pc is a Pentium 200 This 
system runs  the  Node and both the

  tcp/ip & ax25  bbs systems,  the node is  sys.gb7fcr the tcp/ip
 and ax25 bbs

  systems are gb7fcr.ampr.org and  gb7fcr.#16.gbr.eu

  The Node handles both  tcp/ip & ax25 connects.   

   

     

   


   

     

Pentium 550 This system hosts the New InterNet
 8mb ADSL Gateway,

  enabling the system to link to  others at much higher  data rates than
 we can

  achive using rf links, the gateway runs using Linux  SuSE  7,

  and allows connects both to and from  the InterNet

  and to other bbs  systems that are also InterNet linked.
    

     

The BBS Mail feed is from various bbs systems
 around the world

  

   

 

   

   


   

   

   

  

   

By running the System in this configuration I 
  can  offer my users the best
